Yandex Direct (also branded Yandex Ads) is the contextual advertising system of Yandex, the leading search engine in Russia. Who the ad is for: company name, tax or registration number; for foreign entities — the OKSM country code and a registration or VAT number.

Each ad gets an erid token that identifies it in the system.
- Ad mark
The ad carries the «Реклама» mark and advertiser information.
- Reporting to ERIR

Yandex Direct moderation and rules
Every ad and landing page goes through Yandex Direct moderation. It usually takes a few hours; if a review takes more than a day, it is worth contacting support. Medicine, finance, lotteries and some other categories are restricted and may need documents; alcohol, tobacco, weapons and a number of other categories are prohibited. To pass faster:
- Match the ad and the page. The landing page should offer what the ad promises, with prices and contacts in place.
- Prepare documents early. Licences or certificates for restricted categories are uploaded before launch.
- Write plain claims. No superlatives you cannot prove, no misleading text.

Yandex Direct account blocked: what to do
Under the Yandex offer, an account can be suspended for suspicious activity, rule violations or after more than 12 months without orders. The order of actions:
